Ms. Fuqua Ms. Fuqua is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduation from high school, Ms. Fuqua detoured from her education to raise a family. Later, as a non-traditional undergraduate student, she attended the University of Cincinnati as a single parent raising two children. Ms. Fuqua earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance, and graduated with honors.

Ms. Fuqua attended Arizona State University College of Law and graduated in 1996. While attending law school, Ms. Fuqua was a board member of the Women?s Law Students Association and the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. Her volunteer positions during law school include providing legal assistance to residents at various domestic violence and homeless shelters. During her second year, Ms. Fuqua was a representative of her law school class with the American Bar Association/Law School Division. As a second year representative, Ms. Fuqua helped coordinate a Habitat for Humanity project that year.

Ms. Fuqua?s academic accomplishments during law school include attaining the "Honors" recognition in her first-year Legal Research and Writing Program. During her second year, she was awarded the honor of "Best Brief" in the Canby Moot Court Apellate Advocacy Competition. As a result of that honor, Ms. Fuqua was appointed to the position of "Brief Editor" for the Jessup International Moot Court Team during her final year of law school.

Ms. Fuqua was admitted to practice law in Arizona 1996. Due, in part, to her own life?s experiences, Ms. Fuqua has concentrated her practice in the area of family law. As a result, in addition to her vast knowledge of the law and her many years of experience, Ms. Fuqua brings understanding, empathy and compassion to her representation of clients. Consequently, she has earned the reputation in the legal community as being a zealous advocate for her clients both in and out of the courtroom.
